Hi, I’m Carron, primary school teacher, paint enthusiast and the heart behind Paint Pot Barn!

 

Art has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, and studying it only deepened that love. It was always going to find its way into everything I do! Teaching gives me the perfect outlet, filling the classroom with colour, creative projects and the kind of wonderful energy that comes with truly letting imaginations run wild.

 

Outside of school, that creativity needed somewhere else to go too! It started small, painting peg dolls and losing hours to little artistic projects, but the spark kept growing. Then came the moment everything changed, stumbling upon a ceramic café and discovering the pure joy of pottery painting. Within a week I had bought my very own kiln and Paint Pot Barn was born!

 

Now I get to spread that joy in two ways, continuing to inspire the children in my own classroom while also taking Paint Pot Barn out into schools and the wider community across the South Lakes and Furness Peninsula. A place where colour, design and a little bit of creative magic are available to absolutely everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned artists.
